We start out with Largo bitching, “I fought the lawn and the lawn won.” We also find out why Autumn is a peelin', how Sanguinist avoided taking a sac to the face, and we issue some Robot Pick-Up Lines.

Autumn starts us off by discussing just how much damage the new law requiring Canadians to have a passport to enter the states is doing to the local economy. We then explore out new Horrorfest entry, Takin' Your Head, Eh? This also leads to some speculation as to what the AVN Award looks like and how our Whorefest film entry could win (and the less said about the new D&D monster, the Jizz Golem, the better.) On a more serious digression, we also look at W's reading habits and Poppa-Largo's recent trip to a (very inept) hospital (and other hospital horror stories.)

Shifting gears, we take a potentially ill-informed look at the death of David Carradine and the conspiracy theories about it. We also revisit Sanguinist's aversion to poo-porn before Sanguinist moves us on to the newest Forbidden Dance. No, it's not the Lambada; it's Daggering, a simulated sex-dance that, when tried without clothes on, can cause penile fractures. Male members of the audience, feel free to cringe. This leads to digressions about Autumn getting duct taped at Catholic school and the Boy's alter ego, The Flaming Penis.

Keeping it in the superhero vein, Sanguinist shows us the online registry for real-life superheroes (and how some of them are scarier than hell.) Invariably, the discussion then turns to deviant sexual behavior. Again. And the X-Files.

Largo launches us into SVE with a quick and dirty look at the prequel novels for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. He also give props to Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime as the most complicated Transformer he's ever owned. The SVR crew then pans the previews for Year One before reveling in the fact that Land of the Lost has indeed failed. We close out the show by reviewing the Horrofest film Dark Ride. Listen to hear our savage review as we compare this turd to other films in the Horrorfest series (and, not that you can really spoil a shitty movie like this, but spoilers abound.) Also listen to hear Sanguinist pull out the 'hidden' meaning of the film.

We begin with Sanguinist deflating the joy of a couple of coworkers that have hit the milestone that is twenty-one. We also look at the continuing war between Sheetz and Subway for sandwich dominance. We also provide a link to DJ Lodger's first album. We close out the opening ramble by imagining Fran Dresher and Gilbert Godfrey having sex, wondering if Dick Chaney has had enough mechanical parts implanted to be classified as a sex toy, giving a look at the first Transformer named after a toy not recommended for ages 5 and up, and we anti-climax by failing to find anything by typing five q's and hitting “I Feel Lucky” on Google.

Our first (unscheduled) topic is the addition and subtraction of cats from the SVR family, and we then expound on the growing empire that is SVR. We also educate Autumn on things she's too young to remember and wish failure on Will Farrel's Land of the Lost.

Sanguinist then starts us off with his strong opinion on Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor. And it's not based on what you think. Or, if you actually know him, it's exactly based on what you'd think. This leads to a discussion of how this pick, along with some other choices made, make Obama one smart politician before we pick apart G. Gordon Liddy's main objection to Sotomayor (and we float the idea of Ozzy Osborne leading the Largo clan on a Crazy Train Tour and Fantasy C-Span.) Largo also digresses onto a failed school shooting/suicide attempt after Marylin Manson gets mentioned. Listen to find the connection. We also discuss our coping strategies for high school teasing before Autumn revisits some of her classmates on Facebook and then look at how the Middle Class has been transformed into the voyeur class.

Largo drags this tanker back on track, however briefly, by exploring how the pledge of health care reform has kept a certain segment of the stock market from rebounding. This quickly derails onto a discussion of how the Bacon Bra is the ultimate in male control (and we seek Zael's opinion on this as a vegetarian.)

Autumn gives us a quick run down on how an Internet gag has made a shirt featuring three wolves howling at the moon the hottest t-shirt on Amazon. We also beg Stephen Colbert to mention us on his show and explore the possibility of burning our show onto Canadian Bacon DVDs as a Collectors' Edition of the show.

Largo and the Boy move us onto our final topic by reviewing Drag Me to Hell. Give a listen and see why Largo doesn't think that it's as good as the critics seem to. Spoilers abound. We also digress onto a discussion about how when a horror movie is critically acclaimed, it gets rebranded as a suspense film or a thriller and how Autumn wants to make a horror film of her own. Sanguinist then closes the show by telling us about Colin, the zombie movie made for seventy dollars that stormed Cannes.

We begin by fusing HAL and KITT into some bastard fusion (as well as David Hasslehoff and Kiefer Sutherland) while Sanguinist treats bees as Pokemon. We also look at the difference between dead guys and Dead Guy Ale.

Getting onto our topics, Sanguinist leads off with a story about a denied patent for a RF chip that is tied to a cyanide capsule. Limitless, applications for those: parenting, sex offenders, controlling the Hulk...(and we also look at both Vitamin Duh, Vitamin G, and Vitamin Aw, Fuck!) We also bring up the old story about the guy who went in to rob a place with a bomb strapped to his head (and the under-publicized resolution to that story.) The Boy then states categorically that he is not a Cadbury Egg , Sanguinist points out that a little bit of penicillin will clear up that nasty case of Super Saiyan, and we discuss ways of defeating Mustache-Twirling Bad Guy (and we introduce Photosynthesis Smurf.) Continuing with the digressions, we look at the SVR crew's secret weakness, the Dream Police Care Bear, fashion police polar bears, and the return of '80s fashion.

We then (finally) move on to our second topic; the waterboarding of Chicago radio host Mancow. We wonder briefly if we have to waterbaoard everyone who thinks it's not torture to get the point that it's drowning across.

Starting out Something Vaguely Entertaining, Sanguinist runs down of Robin D. Law's Gumshoe, as role-playing system that sounds like a simple and fun way to run a detective game in a variety of different genres (we also look at Tensor's Floating Mammaries, Bigby's Clenched Anal Cheeks, and Milf's Anal Arrow as a useful D&D spells as well as T-Rex sex habits.)
The Boy then gives us a report of PC Gamer's 365 Free Games (some of which are cooler than others) and then takes a look at Prinny: So I Can Be the Hero? (and look at the relative merits of the girls of The Breakfast Club and just why Ninja Gaiden was a bitch to beat.)
Largo then reviews Resurrection: The Insurrection Edition from Oni Press. It's good, especially given that it's almost 200 pages for six bucks. While he's plot light to try to avoid spoilers, give it a listen and see if it's your cup of tea.

We close out Something Vaguely Entertaining with a review of Terminator Salvation, another movie that makes us wonder if we saw the same movie that the critics did. Give a listen and see whose side you fall on, ours or the critics (warning: minor spoilers abound.)

Largo ends the show with a set of small tributes to both what is likely the last episode of Transformers Animated and the Burger King Kingon ads (and a promise to try and catch Drag Me to Hell before next show.)
